Are why I sometimes just want to hide away in a bubble. To protect Q, our family, everyone.

Poor boy. Poor, poor boy.
Thanks to this lovely blog for the link.
In sadness…..
(Hi! I found my way here from the Mothering site.)
This is just so incredibly sad. To think that an adult could act that way. It makes me feel sick and angry to imagine it.
I’ve really enjoyed reading a lot of your back posts here. I have an 8 year old son who isn’t always stereotypically “boy” — he’s not rough-and-tumble, and when he was younger his favorite pair of pants were purple stretch-velvet leggings. We are trying so, so hard to raise him to understand that everyone is different and that our differences are what make us unique and wonderful! It’s a challenge.
Anyway, it felt weird to be reading about your son and your life and all this personal stuff without commenting, so, hi!
I really like your site, and your son is beautiful. I have been concerned for some time about my son because he LOVES fairies, dolls and the color pink. He is 4 years old now. I dont know why I am concerned, just a mothers instinct I suppose. Anyway, I love your site, and really admire the acceptance you have for your son. I want to forward this to my sister. She and her partner (they are a lesbian couple) just had a baby boy.
Thank You!
Hey! Could you send me an email at david.jacques@familyequality.org? Thanks!
